  9. Soaked for 1 hour
  10. 1/2 Cup Rice *Soaked for 1 hour
  11. 1 Cup Oil
  12. 2/3 cup Fried Onions
  13. 1/2 Cup Yogurt
  14. 1/2 Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
  15. 1 Chicken Cube
  16. 2 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  17. 1 Tbsp Green Chilli Paste
  18. 1 Tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  19. 1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  20. 1 Tsp Turmeric (for Mutton)
  21. 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder for (Lentils)
  22. 1 Tsp Ginger Powder
  23. 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  24. as per taste Salt

Instructions to make to make Mutton KHICHDA Recipe

  1. In a Pressure Cooker add Pulses, Rice,1/2Tsp Turmeric Powder and Salt to taste
  2. Put on the lid and Pressure cook it on High Flame till 1 Whistle, then cook on low flame for 20mins
  3. When all Pressure is released, Open the lid and Mash the roughly by adding little Water
  4. Transfer it to Large Pot
  5. In another Pressure Cooker, add Barley, Dalia,1/2Tsp Turmeric Powder and Salt to taste
  6. Put on the lid and Pressure Cook it on High Flame till 1 Whistle, then cook on low flame for 20mins
  7. When all Pressure is released, Open the lid and blend it Coarsely in blender by adding little Water
  8. Transfer it to Pot of Pulses
  9. Add Oil in a Pressure Cooker, when it is hot,add Mutton and Let it sear on High Flame
  10. When Mutton Seared,add Ginger,Garlic and Green Chilli Paste,Cook it for 5mins
  11. Remove 1Tsp of Garam Masala Powder from Spices and add all Spices
  12. Cook it by adding little Water,till Oil separates
  13. Add Fried Onions and Chicken Cube,cook for further 2-3mins
  14. Add Yogurt and cook till Oil separates
  15. Add a Glass of Water, Salt to taste,Put on the lid and Pressure cook it on High Flame till 1 Whistle, then cook on low flame for 15mins
  16. When all Pressure is released, Open the lid and Transfer it to Cereals and Pulses Pot
  17. Mix them and Add Water to adjust Consistency
  18. Add 1Tsp Garam Masala Powder and Chopped Coriander Leaves
  19. Cook them on High Flame till it Boils, Stirring intermittently;then cook on low flame for 15mins
  20. Remove it in Serving Dish, Pour Hot Ghee on top of it
  21. Serve it with Fried Onions, Lemon and Ghee
