  15. 750 gm Long Grain Basmati Rice Soaked in Water for 1 hour
  16. 3 Tbsp Oil,
  17. as required whole spices,
  18. 2 Green Chillies slit into 2
  19. 4 Tbsp Salt,
  20. 3lit Water
  21. Gravy
  22. 1 Cup Fried Onion,
  23. 1/2Cup Cashews,
  24. 1/4Cup Raisins
  25. Marinated Chicken,
  26. 1/2Cup Mayonnaise,
  27. 1/2Cup Fresh Cream
  28. 1/2 Cup Cheese,
  29. 1.5Tsp Garam Masala Powder

Instructions to make to make Green Chicken Biryani

  1. Marinade Preparation for Chicken+Potatoes:
    1. Make a Paste of 1/4Cup Cashews,1Large Capsicum,20-25Green Chillies, Handful of Mint Leaves, Handful of Coriander Leaves by adding little Water
    2. Add Prepared Paste,2/3 Cup Yogurt,3Tbsp of Ginger Garlic Paste,1Tbsp Kasuri Methi, Salt to Taste,1/2Tsp Apple Green Food Colour,Mix,give coal smoke and refrigerate for at least 2hrs
  2. Rice Preparation:
    1. Wash and Soak 750gm of Long Grain
    Basmati Rice in Water for at least 1 hr.In a Large Pot, add 3Tbsp Oil,when Oil is heated,
    add whole spices*1 inch Cinnamon Stick,2-3 Cloves,2-3 Cardamom Pods,5-6 Black Pepper Corn,1Bay Leaf.2-3 Green Chillies slit into 2,cook for 2mins
    2. Add 3 ltrs Water, 4 Tbsp Salt,Cover and let it boil on High Flame.When Water starts boiling, add soaked Rice.Cook on High Flame uncovered, until Rice is Par Boiled.Strain and remove it in a Bowl
  3. Gravy Preparation:
    1. In a Large Pot, add 1/2Cup Oil and 50gm Butter.When heated, add 1/2Cup Cashews and 1/4Cup Raisins.Cook for a min
    2. Add marinated Chicken Pieces along with Potatoes.Cover and cook on High Flame,
    until Chicken Pieces are tender.Then open and cook on High Flame to reduce excess Water
    3. Add 1.5Tsp Garam Masala Powder,1Cup Fried Onion.Cook on High Flame for 5mins
  4. 4. Add 1/2Cup Mayonnaise,cook for 2-3mins.Add 1/2Cup Fresh Cream,1/2Cup Cheese,mix and cook for 2-3mins on High Flame
    5. Layer Rice on Top.Add Green Food Colour and Ghee on top.Give Coal Smoke,cover and cook on Low Flame for 1/2hr.Open the lid and remove it in Serving Plate.Serve it Hot.
