Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Veg Paneer Biryani:

  1. For Marinated -
  2. 250 gm Paneer diced some veggies of your choice
  3. as required Onion large
  4. 3 spoon yogurt /dahi
  5. leaves Chopped green coriander
  6. as per taste Salt
  7. 3/4 spoon sugar
  8. 1/4 spoon kasuri methi
  9. 1 pinch dried mint powder(optional)
  10. 1/4 spoon red chilli powder
  11. 1/4 spoon turmericpowder
  12. 3-4 cloves crushed
  13. For Biryani-
  14. 2 spoon oil
  15. 3-4 spoon ghee
  16. 1/2 spoon cumin seeds
  17. Some whole dry spices -
  18. 2 bayleaf
  19. 5 green Cardamom
  20. 4 cloves
  21. 1/4 spoon black peper corns
  22. 1 star anise
  23. 1 chopped onion
  24. as per taste Salt
  25. 1/2 spoon ginger garlic paste
  26. 1 large tomato
  27. 1 spoon red chilli powder
  28. 1 spoon dry Coriander powder
  29. 3/4 spoon garam masala powder
  30. 1/4 spoon kasuri methi
  31. For rice-
  32. 2 cup basmati long grain rice
  33. as per taste Oil for Birista
  34. to taste Salt

Instructions to make to make Veg Paneer Biryani

  1. For Merinate -Birista. -slice1onion seprate slices add to a pan along with 3spoon hot oil fry on low flame stir continuesly until light golden in colour. Keep aside oil to keep aside.
  2. In a large bowl add birista yoghurt green coriander leaves salt kasuri methi dried mint powder red chilli powder turmeric powder crush cloves mix all add mix veggies paneeer cubes. Cover for 1hour.
  3. For rice -soak rice for 1hour boiled 8cups water add salt oil from birista soaked rice cook rice 75%
    Then drain seprate in plate add some drops of cooking colour if you like mix them.
  4. For Biryani Masala -In a pressure cooker /pan add oil &ghee once heat add cumin seeds whole dry spices saute add chopped onions cook till golden in colur ginger garlic paste chopped tometoes salt saute
  5. Add turmeric powder red chilli powder garam masala powder kasuri methi cook masala add green coriander leaves mint leaves stir add 1cup water boil it switched off flame deep of this gravy add 1/2of cooked rice marinated paneer
  6. Rest of rice. Cover pan with lid heat the flame cook for 2-3min then 20min. in low flame.
    Open pan serve hot with any raita or gravy.
