- 1 tsp chana dal
- 1 tsp urad dal

- 3 cup rice
- 1 cup tuvar dal
- 1 tsp methi seeds
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp curd
- 1 tsp baking soda or eno
Instructions to make to make Masala Dosa
- In a pan, add some oil,now add some mustard seeds.Let it pop,adding to it the chana and urad dal with curry leaves.
- Now add the onion,tomato,peas and saute it for 5 mins.Add in the ginger chilli paste and all the spices.
- Now add the boiled and mashed potato and give it a nice mix so that the spices mix well with the vegetables.
- Now mix the batter well and add some water to it. We need to grind the rice and dal mixture in the morning and leave it for some time to ferment adding in the curd.
- Now,take a tawa and let it heat.After a while make sure that you sprinkle some water over it and spread the dosa batter over it with a large spoon and see to it that it's evenly spread.
- Add in the stuffing and sprinkle some oil over it.Now roll the Dosa or fold it and serve it with some Sambhar and Chutney.I've made 3 chutney such as Coriander mint chutney, Coconut chutney and garlic chutney.
